Bosom Buddies Tournament

BOSOM BUDDIES OF SOUTHWESTERN COLORADO has been serving men and women who experience breast cancer since 2001.  With the contributions they receive from this community, they provide essential services and financial assistance to our afflicted community members.  All of the dollars earned here in Montrose, stay here.  For this reason, Cobble Creek Women’s Golf Association has been supporting Bosom Buddies of Southwestern Colorado the past 15 years. 

 

Since 2001, BOSOM BUDDIES has provided the following assistance to over 4000 members of our community with over $900,000 in financial assistance and has provided the following services:

  • Host support discussions upon request for women and men dealing with breast cancer

  • Provide financial assistance for mammograms and other breast cancer related medical expenses to underserved women and men in southwestern Colorado

  • Help more than 200 women and men each year with medical financial assistance

  • Make available hats, scarves, wigs, bras and prosthesis

  • Award scholarships to the children of a parent or guardian diagnosed with breast cancer, and to breast cancer survivors who reside in southwestern Colorado

  • Provide financial assistance for counseling services for children of women and men diagnosed with breast cancer

Our 16th annual BOSOM BUDDIES Golf Tournament is on:    TUESDAY, AUGUST 15th.

Please join us for a day of golf fun, raising money used to serve the needs of breast cancer victims right here in our Montrose community.  Since its inception in 2001, Bosom Buddies of Southwestern Colorado has provided over $900,000 in assistance and services to thousands of local men and women.  ALL of the money we raise stays in our community.

 

If you have been a previous player or sponsor, THANK YOU !  If you are new to our community, please consider participating in this event.  If you don't play golf, please consider being a hole sponsor or volunteer.  Signup sheets for both hole sponsorship and volunteers is on the bulletin board outside the Lady's restroom in the Cobble Creek clubhouse. PLEASE PAY FOR HOLE SPONSOR DONATIONS BY CHECK and send to Connie Major, 1010 Courthouse Peak Lane, Montrose, CO 81403, by August 7th to allow time to print hole sponsor signs.

 

To register to play golf, please use the GGID: CCBB23 .  PLEASE PAY FOR GOLF BY CHECK, made out to CCWGA or Cobble Creek Women's Golf Association.  Checks for golf may either be sent to Connie Major, 1010 Courthouse Peak Lane, Montrose, CO 81403 or may be delivered to the clubhouse on/before game day.

 

All are welcome to participate in two opportunities to join a "CHAOS PUTTING CONTEST".  To participate in chaos putting, simply bring $5, your putter and a ball with your ID on it to the putting green either on 

Friday, August 11th at 5:00PM before Happy Hour

or 

Tuesday, August 15th at 7:30AM prior to tee-off. 

 

PINK OUT MONTROSE RIBBONS will be on sale at the Tavern during Happy Hour and at other times until game day.  They will also be displayed at other Retailers around Montrose who are supporting this project.  Please help us thank these merchants for their donations with your recognition and your business.
