  • Tennis Courts and Parks: Two tennis courts are located near the pro-shop. There are several park areas within and adjacent to the community including a children’s playground.
  • Lakes and Views: There are ten lakes located on the golf course as it winds through the community and other lakes are stocked with trout for catch and release fishing just for Cobble Creek Residents. The dramatic Cimarron and San Juan Mountains are visible from most home-site areas. The San Juan Mountains are some of the most photographed mountains in the world!

Our community members live in what is considered one of the most scenic areas in not only Colorado, but also in the entire country. Mark and Belynda Prehn

mark-and-belynda-prehn1Mark and Belynda Prehn have lived here for 4 years after Belynda retired from being a flight attendant for 33 years. Mark has worked for golf courses in the past and works for the maintenance department during the summer.

They enjoy the luxury of having a patio home that maintains their yard during both the summer and winter months. This also makes traveling a lot more convenient.

Both Mark and Belynda use the fitness center regularly. The Sauna and Steam rooms are great a asset for relaxation after working out.

The Clubhouse has really introduced them to many of the community members they did not know. It is a nice way to enjoy a drink with new friends.

The Prehn’s like the many positive aspect’s the community has to offer,  the diversity of families living here, the activities offered

Dennis and Jonnie Wilson

Dennis and Jonnie Wilson moved to Montrose, Colorado from California 4 years ago to live closer to family and have a more relaxed pace of life.

- The Wilson’s have two Grand Nieces, Jonnie Rose and Cameron Sunshine. They are 4 years old.

- The family dog is a  Cocker Spaniel named Willy who is 11 years old. Most of our friends know where his Cookie Jar is. For those who don’t, Willy will happily show them.

- Jonnie is an avid gardener.

- Dennis has the mind of a 2 handicap on the golf course and the body of a 32 handicap, and has the ability of shooting between 75 and 105 depending on the wager.

- Dennis and Jonnie truely enjoy golf and all the amenities that Cobble Creek Golf Community has to offer.

- The Wilson’s have been married for 23 years.

- “If you ever stop by our back yard, we are known to poor a stiff drink from time to time. Especially Friday afternoons after a round of ‘Man Golf’ “
